TWHS PTO is the parent volunteer organization that supports The Woodlands High School (one PTO that services both the 9th grade campus and the senior campus) located in The Woodlands, Texas.
The PTO provides volunteers to help with textbook distribution, activities such as coatroom for homecoming and prom, general volunteer needs and monthly staff appreciation events for our 330+ staff members.
In addition, the PTO provides financial support for events or items that enhance our students education both in the classroom and for the future. The PTO pays for events such as "Shattered Lives", a production of Montgomery County agencies/First Responders that realistically demonstrates the dangers of drunk driving. PTO also has paid for updates to the College and Career Center, as well as installation of digital projectors, purchasing of iPads for teaching, and additional security cameras.
TWHS PTO does not hold fundraisers, we simply hold a membership drive at the beginning of each school year. PTO membership is annual.
If you would like to receive PTO emails, just click on the Join and Volunteer selection on the side menu.
If you are new to The Woodlands or to our school, please look over the 411 publications we have put together on different subjects. These are handy reference tools that may answer some of the questions you have about a variety of issues. If you have a question that is not answered in one of these publications, please let us know so we can add it in.
The PTO holds 2 general meetings per year: September and April to which everyone is invited.
If you are interested in getting more involved or have any questions at all, please email us at TWHSPTO@gmail.com
